UPDATE BELOW

We are a 501(c)(3) nonprofit. Donations are tax-deductible.

Our story follows accounts from many refugees and what they’ve gone through as well as the people wanting to help them. Including following a medic on the front lines of Mosul.

  1. The story of Ashwaq who was captured by ISIS at the age of 14 and used as a sex slave until she escaped and fled to Germany where she lived for a few years. She ran into her captor in the streets one day and our story follows what happened next.

  2. We follow 3 medics on the front lines of the war against ISIS who are saving civilian lives with the motto “while others are taking a lives, I’m going to be saving it.” (Hacksaw Ridge)

  3. We follow 3 non profits that are helping in the refugee crisis by providing housing, food and trauma care for those most effected by the war.

  1. Meeting and interviewing Ashwaq.

  2. Going back to Mosul, Iraq.

  3. Meeting with the Refugee Initiative and seeing their work to combat the Coronavirus with an Isolation Hospital.

  4. Meeting with You Belong and filming with them for 5 days.

  5. Interviewing refugees in Australia.

  6. Meeting with the Mayor of Toowoomba, and meeting an ambassador in Iraq.

  7. Traveling and sometimes making it out of the country before closures 1 day before or even being on the last flight out. Thank you for all the prayers and we are now isolating ourselves at home in the US because of the Coronavirus.

After five years of war in Iraq, people from around the world are heading out to help with the IDP/Refugee crisis. We’ll hear from the people on the ground that lived through the crisis and those that are helping them through this traumatic time with a purpose of hope and sacrificial love.
